I just Love stories on how people got together! Especially the ones who are still together twenty-something years later. That really made me smile.

I never did send in my story about how I met/married your brother, because I thought you knew all ready! A friend and I were having a joint birthday party together in the barracks on the base. Our friend Lou stopped by with Dennis, and said "I can't stay, but take care of my man here." I've been doing it ever since. Maybe I shouldn't have taken Lou so literally? Ha! When Dennis "Proposed" he just asked "So ... Do you think you could spend the rest of your life with a guy like me?" We got married one year to the day that we met. We got married at my mom's house, only because we were supposed to get married in my sister's hospital room, but she got out the day before the "wedding."

from the grammar in the blog, I thought your cats were named cholesterol and Sasquatch, which I thought was pretty cool, but then I read it again, and I don't think that's what you meant. At all.

Did you email me? I haven't looked in a couple of days. My first marriage was after a quick courtship, much like all your stories, only with a different ending. 2 weeks after that break-up, my friend Christie took me to a benefit for a co-worker who'd been in a very bad car accident. Chris worked for the same company so he was there too. We weren't even going to be "dating" because I was moving to New York City but I ended up staying in Michigan and we kept hanging out together. After 7 years, we finally got married last May. Also, I don't what's wrong with your grammar - but I do think cholesterol and Sasquatch are cool names for cats. I'll have to remember them for next time.
