There's nothing going on.
It's hot and humid!! I was in the den with the ceiling fan on, talking to Rachel on the phone and trying to access something on the internet for her at the same time, and the heat was making me feel horrible, so I had to get off of the phone and go sit in the living room in front of the air conditioner.
Rachel and Kim are in Cadillac, Michigan, and they have to wake up at 5, leave the hotel at 5:30, and be on the ferry when it leaves at 7. It's a 4-hour trip across Lake Michigan! They land somewhere north of Milwaukee, and they'll be home in about 3 hours. Yay!
Rachel tried to talk Kim into just driving home - it would take 6 hours, but they'd be home by midnight, but Kim wouldn't go along with it. We couldn't decide if she just didn't want to leave the comfort of the motel, what with the big bed, and the TV and the pool, or if she was determined to ride the ferry. Whatever. Rachel is sick of traveling, and I think she's just tired, so she wants to get home! Well, she'll be back tomorrow. I hope she's still going to want to drive to Nebraska next week to visit Grandma.
There's really nothing interesting going on here today.
