I can see clearly now.
So Rachel has been complaining for the last two weeks that her contacts are blurry. She keeps taking them out and cleaning them and wearing her glasses to give her eyes a rest, but they have really been bothering her, and she had ordered new lenses at work before she moved back here and was planning to pick them up next week when she goes back down for a wedding, but finally she decided she can't wait that long so she called someone who works there and arranged for him to mail them to her.
We were driving to Chicago tonight and she was complaining about the blurriness, and on the way back she pulled out the lenses at a rest stop to try to clean them and then for some reason, she tried putting them in the other eyes, and it was a miracle ! She could see clearly again! Apparently she got them switched and has been wearing the left lens in the right eye and the right lens in the left eye, and there is enough of a difference in them to be a problem.
She was so excited! "I can read the signs!" Uh, you couldn't before? So that problem is solved. Whew!
