In which I become a pushy golf mom.
Hmph. I just read an article in the local paper about the girls golf team in which they interviewed the coach and she mentioned every girl by name, except Kim. Damn. She's got 5 girls on the team, is it that hard to say something about each of them? Okay, Kim is not the best player, she's actually more like the worst, but if they didn't have her, they wouldn't even have a team, so they should be a little more grateful.
Well, obviously the answer is that Kim needs to get better. She's been playing for a year, and I don't know what a reasonable expectation would be, but I think if she takes a lesson on Saturday mornings, and spends time on the driving range when there isn't a team practice, it will help. If I go with her to keep her company, she won't mind, except that it will take time away from reading manga and watching anime!
I know Kim doesn't care, and she is only playing golf to be excused from gym, but it would be nice if she was at least an asset to the team. We are going to work on this.
