It looks just like a postcard!
It's pouring rain outside! I had to carry an umbrella on my walk from my car to the building, and it looks like it might rain tomorrow, too. The good news is that since we paid the guy to re-roof the area over the cat's bathroom, and to patch the stucco, our bathroom roof doesn't leak when it rains! That just makes me feel so much better about my life! We'll still never be able to sell this house, and we'll have to live here until we die and our kids bring a dumpster to shovel out all of our stuff, but at least the bathroom ceiling doesn't rain on the inside!
Kim and Britta both left their phone chargers at Kat's house, and Kim still had a house key, so we drove back down there today to get the chargers and check on the dogs. The little dogs were so happy to see us! We cleaned up all the puddles and poops we could find, because apparently none of them know what their doggy door is for - just so they can go out and enjoy the sun and run around in the grass, but heaven knows they wouldn't want to dirty up the clean grass by pooping in it!
It was a beautiful sunny day (the rain didn't start until tonight while I was sleeping), and the fields and trees were so green and lush! We said it looked just like a postcard, and wished Diana was here to see it!
Kim is packing tonight for the trip to Cedar Point tomorrow. They are planning to leave about 10:30 in the morning, so they'll be gone when I get up, and it will be just me and Buffy, alone together. Sniff.
